Padel Analytics: What It Actually Does
Padel Analytics is a match-tracking and effort-tracking app for padel players. It records what you enter after each match and what you choose to import from Apple Health or Health Connect — nothing more, nothing invented.
What you log every match
After a match, open Padel Analytics and record the score, who you played with and against, how hard the match felt, and whether anything hurt. It takes less than a minute and builds a real history over a season.
Every entry is exactly what you typed. There is no algorithm guessing your score or inventing statistics you did not report.
Recorded per match
- Set and game score, including tiebreaks.
- Golden point or advantage scoring rule.
- Partner name and opponent names.
- Court side and dominant hand.
- Perceived effort (RPE) and physical discomfort.
- Free-text notes.

Effort and discomfort ratings side by side, so a rough patch shows up before it turns into an overuse injury.

Win/loss trends and effort trends over weeks and months, without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.
Health app sync
When a padel session is already logged in Apple Health or Health Connect, Padel Analytics can import its duration, average and maximum heart rate, and estimated energy expenditure to complete the picture — no GPS route needed for a court sport.
Manual stroke tally
If you want more detail, note winners, forced errors, unforced errors, overhead count and total strokes by hand after the match. These stay clearly labeled as manual entries, not sensor data.
What is not here yet
We would rather tell you plainly than oversell the app. The first release focuses on getting match tracking right. Automatic stroke detection, wrist or racket sensors, an Apple Watch app, and Garmin support are on the long-term roadmap, not in the app today. Nothing in Padel Analytics presents an estimated shot count as if it had been measured automatically.
